ChildSharing.com offers certified Family Court Parenting Programs. Our online classes allow you to learn the same information online that you would learn in a traditional classroom for parenting - with the convenience of studying at home. There may be some minor differences between this class and your county specific program but the goal is to offer the same curriculum and material as you would get if you physically attended a parenting class.
The class is filled with instructional videos, illustrations and interesting facts. When you complete the last section of the class you will take a final exam. After passing the final exam, Childsharing.com will e-mail confirmation of class completion directly to you and written certification will be sent directly to you. Please contact us at 1-866-333-1165 if you have any questions, need further information or need help getting started we can also be reached via e-mail at info@childsharing.com
You will take a short quiz after each parenting section. The online quizzes are designed to test your understanding of key points in each section that you have reviewed in preparation for the final exam. Each online quiz consists of a combination of true/false and multiple-choice questions. After correctly answering all of the questions, you can proceed to the next parenting section of the class. Quizzes are corrected for you real-time so you may adjust your error and move easily through the parenting classes.
These online classes are self-paced and be taken at your leisure. The four, six and eight hour parenting classes may be worked on in sections. You have up to 30 days to complete each class (an extension may be offered upon request). Please Note: Although this parenting course is certified in counties throughout the country, you should check with your attorney or local family court facilitator to make sure an online course will fulfill your requirement for the mandatory parenting class. If not, they should be able to supply you with an approved list of providers in your area. You can also ask the family court in your county to review ChildSharing.com to request certification approval in your county.
When you have completed all of the sections you will take a final exam based on the material you have read. In order to pass the final exam, you must get at least 75% of the questions correct, depending on the requirements of your court. In the event you do not pass the final exam on your first attempt, you will have the opportunity to review the materials and re-take the exam until you are successful. No additional fees will be charged for the re-take. You must take the final exam in one sitting or your test will be reset.
When you pass the final exam, we will notify you immediately via e-mail and attach an unofficial certificate . Depending upon the requirement of your court, we will mail your certificate of completion either to you or directly to your local court.
We will send your certificate of completion either to you or to the court presiding over your case. Where we send your certificate depends on the requirements of your court. You may verify your court's requirements by clicking the "County" link, select your County and court and read the section marked "Certificate Delivery".
